Access to the Facility

The magnet time is available to researchers from all over the world. The instruction for the application can be found on the website of http://whmfc.hust.edu.cn/yhfw/jssq.htm. Projects can be submitted through the website: http://user.whmfc.hust.edu.cn. Researchers or senior investigators in research institutions can be the applicants. Undergraduate students are not allowed to independently apply for magnet time.

Users should discuss the feasibility and experimental requirements of their projects with at least one of our principal investigators (PI) before applying for the magnet time. Applications will be reviewed within 7 days and the review results will be sent to the applicant by e-mail from whmfc#hust.edu.cn. Users can take their samples to the WHMFC along with the PI, or send the sample by post, for both cases. The users should discuss with the corresponding PI in advance, at least three days before conducting the experiments.

Security trainings are mandatory for all users who come the lab in person for experiments. These users should follow the safety rules of the lab. Trainings are performed before the measurement.

No matter the measurement results are published or not, users should log on to the website (http://user.whmfc.hust.edu.cn) to submit summaries of the measurement result within one month. In writing the paper, the users should discuss with the PI about the data analysis, paper contributions and other details. After these cooperative research data are published, an electronic version of the paper should be sent to the corresponding PI.
