On July 7, 2024, the Executive Committee meeting of the International High Magnetic Field Association was held in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Professor Liang Li, director of the WHMFC and chairman of the International High Magnetic Field Association, presided over the meeting. Heads of major high magnetic field laboratories from the United States, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Japan, and other countries attended the meeting. They had in-depth exchanges on the current status and future of high magnetic field facilities and research hotspots in the field of high magnetic fields, and jointly explored how to promote international scientific and technological cooperation under the current complex international situation.
